Refund Policy
Effective date: June 1, 2025
Summary: WhaleClean operates a no-refund policy by default. Refunds are issued only when the problem is on our side. This policy exists because software licenses are delivered instantly and digitally, making them non-returnable under most circumstances.
When We Will Issue a Refund
We will process a full refund if any of the following apply:
- Your license key was not delivered after a successful payment.
- The license key we delivered does not activate in the WhaleClean application due to a technical error on our end.
- You were charged twice for the same order due to a billing system error.
- A proven software defect renders the application completely non-functional on a supported Windows version (10 or 11) and we are unable to resolve it within 14 days of your report.
When We Will Not Issue a Refund
Refunds will not be granted for the following reasons:
- Change of mind after purchase.
- You forgot to cancel before a renewal charge.
- The software does not meet personal expectations not described in our feature list.
- Incompatibility with unsupported operating systems (Windows 7, 8, or earlier).
- Your computer does not meet the minimum hardware requirements.
- You purchased the wrong plan.
- Partial use of the subscription period.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you qualify for a refund under the conditions above, please open a support ticket from your dashboard contact form. Refund requests sent by other means cannot be processed.
Include the following in your request:
- Your registered email address
- The date of purchase
- A description of the issue
- Any relevant screenshots or error messages
We review all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. Chargebacks filed without first attempting resolution through our support system may result in immediate account termination and license revocation.
